Sara is a first-generation U.S. immigrant and student at Lincoln Southeast High School.
She wants to thank Lincoln Public Schools for being intentional about identifying her skills. LPS placed Sara in a gifted program that allows her to maximize her own potential in the classroom, regardless of the fact that English is not her first language.
LPS has allowed Sara to experiment with a variety of different science classes in order to clarify her plans for college and career.
